These U.S.-based actuarial credentials are in countries in North America, South America, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), and Asia. Some countries require additional local qualifications for full actuarial practice.

## Canada
To practice as a fully qualified actuary in Canada, candidates must obtain an SOA or CAS credential and meet **Canadian-specific education requirements**.
